Need a Ride? Take the Hamilton County Express Bus

If you are a Hamilton County resident, you can take advantage of a little known public tranportation service that picks you up at your home and delivers you to any address located within Hamilton County. The Hamilton County Express (HCE) operates Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m..

An adult one-way ticket is $4.00 (student fares are $2 one-way). Monthly passes with unlimited rides are available for $50.00 (students pay $40). Passes may be purchased from the HCE driver or at Janus Developmental Services.

The service requires a 24 hour advanced notice. To book a ride call (317) 773.2688. For weekday reservations, a rider must call between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.. Transportation requests for Monday must be received by 4:00 p.m. on the previous Friday. Weekend requests must be received by Friday at NOON. Standing reservations are also accepted. The bus is wheelchair accessible with friendly, professional licensed drivers.

  • Where are the pick up and drop offs of Hamiton County Express bus? Where does it have a bus stop at what cities Noblesville, Carmel and Fishers?

  • hey Kristi it will pick you up at ANY address like the article says. There are no"stops" like Marion County.they pick you up at whatever Hamilton County address you tell them when you book your ride the previous day!
